Flash Fiction

Flash fiction takes many forms. It can be a six-word story, a story under one hundred words, or a story under a thousand words. (Some people define it as being under two thousand words.) I like to write flash fiction to get my brain moving and force myself to tell a coherent story in just a few words. The story generally becomes somewhat of a lead-in to a larger story. I may or may not take it to a larger story (generally not), but I am pleased if the foundation is there.

I try to put flash fiction up at least once a month, and sometimes more. I start with an image and use that image to tell a story. My flash fiction can be found here.
